Terms of Service

These terms of service apply to all massage appointments booked with Sana, trading as Massage by Sana, based in Birmingham, West Midlands. By booking an appointment with me, you agree to the following terms.

Booking

All appointments are booked directly via WhatsApp or phone. A booking is confirmed once I have acknowledged your preferred date, time and service in writing via WhatsApp. Please ensure the details are correct before confirmation — if anything needs changing, let me know as soon as possible.

I reserve the right to decline a booking at my discretion.

Payment

Payment is due at the end of your session. I accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash — exact change appreciated but not required
  • Bank transfer — payment can be made during or immediately after the session. My bank details will be provided at the time of booking on request.

I do not accept card payments at this time.

Cancellations & rescheduling

I understand that plans change. Please give me as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • More than 24 hours' notice — no charge. Happy to reschedule to another time.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice — a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost may be charged at my discretion. This reflects the time I have set aside and cannot reallocate.
  • No-show (no contact, no attendance) — the full session fee may be charged.

If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will let you know as soon as possible and no cancellation fee will apply.

Late arrival

If you arrive late for an in-call appointment, or are not ready when I arrive for an out-call, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time to avoid impacting other bookings. The full session fee applies. Please do your best to be on time.

Health & safety

Please let me know of any medical conditions, injuries, pregnancies or allergies before your session. Some conditions may mean I need to adapt the treatment or, in rare cases, defer it until you have consulted a doctor. This is for your safety and wellbeing.

I reserve the right to refuse or end a session if I have reasonable concerns about a client's health or safety, or if a client behaves in an inappropriate or threatening manner. In such circumstances, the full session fee remains payable.

Massage therapy is a professional therapeutic service. Any inappropriate behaviour or requests will result in the session being ended immediately and the client being permanently declined future bookings.

Out-call appointments

For out-call sessions, you agree to ensure the space is safe, clean and suitable for a massage. A reasonable amount of floor or table space is required. I travel within Birmingham and surrounding areas — a travel charge may apply depending on your location, which will be agreed prior to the booking.

Liability

I take every care to provide a safe and professional massage service. However, I cannot be held liable for any pre-existing conditions that may be aggravated by massage, or for any loss or damage to personal belongings during a session. It is your responsibility to inform me of any health conditions prior to treatment.
